Jan Soderqvist
Jan Soderqvist is a writer, editor, TV- and radio- producer. He received BA in literature from the University of Stockholm. Jan is a political columnist for Finanstidningen (Swedish Financial Times) and a cinema critique columnist for Swedish daily Svenska Dagbladet. He was the editor of the leading Swedish literature magazine Allt om Bocker for five years, and the editor of a prestigious political magazine Moderna Tider for four years. He also was the editor on the Swedish TV and the editor of Computer Sweden. He is a co-founder of Dolly magazine, a leading outlet on the issues of ‘new economy’ and ‘new biology’.
He is best known for the book trilogy (jointly with A.Bard) “The Futurica Trilogy”, which includes “The Netocrats” (2000), “The Global Empire” (2003) and “The Body-Machines” (2009). “The Netocrats” has become an international best-seller already translated into 16 languages.
