David Yang – founder and Chairman of the Board of ABBYY, leading manufacturer of numerous language translation software as well as of software used for the optical recognition of symbols. He is the author of numerous articles and speaches in the field of artificial intellect and recognition of symbols, and of a number of patents. David Yang is recognized as one of the 100 most professional people in the Russian computer industry. In 2000 the Institute of Economic strategy named him the winner of « Economic break of year ». In 2002, David Yang was the winner of the Russian Government Prize in the field of science and technology.
